If you change the label on a product, does it automatically change the contents?
I was speaking with a loved one today when they handed the phone to a child that was in the house. The child, only 8 years old, wanted to tell me what she learned that day.
With great excitement, she said to me, “Today, the teacher took out 1 can of tomato soup and 1 can of chicken soup. She then asked all the kids to read the label and to know what was in it. She asked us what was in the can and we told her that one was tomato soup and one was chicken soup.
Then she told us to take off the label and switch them. When we were done, she asked us again what was in the can. She explained to us that even if we switch the label on the can, it doesn’t change what’s on the inside.”
“Oh, ok…” I said. But she wasn’t finished telling her story.
“So, the teacher explained that if you are a boy or a girl, no matter what you do on the outside, you cannot truly change how God made you!” She exclaimed.
