Are you a negative nelly, or have you made peace with the fact that it’s more important that you share the truth rather than being afraid to shatter illusions of the feeble-minded?
Many of us have been accused of being negative simply because we speak the truth no matter the cost.
It’s quite difficult in an eyes-wide-shut society to not sound negative.
It seems almost impossible to have a dinner or gathering without bringing up the “v” word, masks, or mandates…
It’s almost impossible to not judge those who are still wearing a mask even though we know virus particles go right through the fibres. It’s almost impossible to not judge those who still think that it’s a good idea to add a booster shot to something that didn’t work in the first place – or boost against a strain of the virus that no longer exists. It’s almost impossible to not give up on sharing the facts and data with people to help them see the truth.
I gladly wear the label of negative nelly if that means that I can pull ONE head out of the sand.
I gladly wear the label of negative nelly if that means that I can break the trance of confirmation bias, or ego-driven compliance in those who just don’t want to face the fact that they were tricked.
I gladly wear the label of negative nelly if that means I can tell a sheep “I TOLD YOU SO!”
Don’t be mad at me for refusing to bury my head in the sand.
